EOT Gantry Crane Operator (Only Steel Industry experience people to apply)

Job Title: EOT Crane Operator / Gantry Crane Operator Industry: Steel / Heavy Engineering / Manufacturing Key Responsibilities

• Operate rail-mounted gantry and EOT cranes as per manufacturer guidelines, SOPs, and Qatar Steel HSE regulations
• Lift, move, and accurately position materials such as billets and rebar using electromagnets, hooks, and slings
• Assess load assembly, identify center of gravity, and ensure load safety before lifting
• Operate crane controls including levers, pedals, and buttons to manage hoist movement, speed, and direction
• Follow written, verbal, and signal instructions during crane operations
• Perform daily cleaning, inspection, and routine maintenance of cranes and lifting equipment
• Report equipment defects and ensure safe working conditions at all times Requirements Education & Skills Minimum qualification: 10+2 (Higher Secondary) Ability to read, write, and speak English Certification & Experience Valid third-party certification for Safe Gantry Crane and EOT Crane Operations Certification must be issued by QE or Qatar Steel-HSE approved institutions Compliance with BS ISO 15513:2000, ISO 12480-1, and ISO 9926 standards Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in gantry crane or similar crane operations Experience in the steel industry is required
