Employment Specialist: Young Adult Community Treatment Team- 7102

OBJECTIVE OF POSITION: To work with individuals who have substance use and/or co-occurring mental health issues both individually and in group settings, in the treatment setting and community setting as appropriate, to assist them in all aspects of gaining and maintaining employment and education with focus on recovery. By: • Assessing individual skills, interests and motivation in area of vocational and educational goals. • Assisting individuals in developing and implementing a plan to meet vocational and educational goals. • Developing internal and external vocational and educational opportunities to ensure that the individuals have opportunities to learn and develop desired skills related to employment and education.
