Fire Fighting Coordinator (recruiting from Malta or abroad)
Job description
Our client, one of Malta's leading technical services companies, is seeking a proactive and highly organized Fire Fighting Coordinator to join its growing operations team. This role is ideal for a technically minded professional with strong coordination skills and a customer-focused approach. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating the servicing, maintenance, certification, and installation of firefighting equipment while ensuring operational efficiency, regulatory compliance, and exceptional client service.
Working closely with technicians, clients, and internal departments, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality fire protection solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate and schedule the servicing, maintenance, installation, and certification of firefighting equipment to ensure timely and efficient service delivery. Support and coordinate the daily activities of field technicians by providing operational guidance, job priorities, and the resources required to complete assigned work.
Monitor servicing activities to ensure compliance with company procedures, legal requirements, and industry standards while maintaining accurate service records. Conduct quality assurance checks, prepare certifications, and issue quotations for repairs, replacements, or system modifications where required. Act as the primary point of contact for clients, managing service requests, preparing quotations and tender documentation, and maintaining strong customer relationships.
Prepare operational reports, maintain documentation, and provide administrative support while contributing to continuous process improvement initiatives.
Requirements
Previous experience in a technical coordination, service operations, or facilities management role. Strong planning, organizational, and time management skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a professional and customer-focused approach.
Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Good computer literacy, including experience using Microsoft Office applications and service management systems. Fluency in English; knowledge of Maltese will be considered an advantage. Licenses & Qualifications Diploma (MQF Level 5 or equivalent) in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or another relevant technical discipline.
Previous experience within the fire protection, fire safety, security systems, or facilities management industry.
