Top 20 Design firm in the Mid-West looking to bring to their team a Mechanical Engineer ! This position has a focus on the Industrial, Government and Mission Critical Markets. The types of projects range from power plants , assembly /manufacturing facilities, warehouses and labs.There is an opportunity to work directly with the client .
ROLE / RESPONSIBILITES : *Design and overview of process controls, emergency power, contaminate control and structural design. *Actively participate in the quality control * Responsible for complete design by discipline for projects of all sizes. * Plans design work and assigns design duties to staff working on projects.
- Opportunity for leadership in Corporate Technical Committees. * Acts as an advisor and develops the technical competence of less experienced staff. * Key role in project reviews for quality control for large complex projects. * Opportunity as lead engineer on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects. *Provides technical assistance to help resolve field issues.
Must be able to visit project sites. * Opportunity to serve as Project Manager on large complex projects or multiple smaller projects. * Opportunity to identify prospective clients, assist in marketing to develop new clients, and prepares proposals for services. * Participates in presentations to clients and interviews for new clients..
REQUIREMENTS
