About the Role

An established and successful automotive dealership in Secunda is seeking an experienced and commercially astute Dealer Principal to provide strategic leadership and drive sustainable business growth across multiple leading automotive brands. This is an executive-level opportunity for a proven dealership leader with a strong track record in profitability, operational excellence, customer experience, people leadership, and OEM relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

Lead the overall strategic direction and performance of the dealership. Drive profitability across New Vehicles, Used Vehicles, Parts, Service and F&I operations. Ensure achievement of OEM sales, aftersales, CSI and market share targets. Develop and mentor departmental management teams. Drive a high-performance culture focused on accountability and results.

Maintain exceptional customer satisfaction and retention. Ensure compliance with OEM, legal and regulatory requirements. Oversee budgeting, forecasting and financial performance. Build strong relationships with franchise partners and key stakeholders. Identify and implement business development and growth opportunities.

Requirements

Minimum Requirements Minimum 10 years' automotive retail experience. Minimum 5 years in a senior dealership leadership role (Dealer Principal, General Manager, Dealer Executive or equivalent). Proven track record of delivering dealership profitability and growth. Experience managing Sales, Service, Parts and F&I operations.

Strong financial and commercial management capabilities. Experience managing OEM relationships and franchise compliance. Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous. Valid driver's licence.
