Job description
The Medical Assistant functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary care team, supporting medical and nursing providers in delivering safe, efficient, patient-centered care within a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC). This role requires strong clinical judgment, attention to safety, effective communication, accurate documentation, and a commitment to quality improvement.
The Medical Assistant participates in a team-based model of care and contributes to a culture grounded in safety, professionalism, accountability and continuous improvement. All Medical Assistants are expected to perform the essential functions of this role regardless of certification status.
