Job description
The Department of Animal Resources at Scripps Research is seeking a mid–senior level Animal Technician to provide daily care, health observations, and routine treatments for research animals. The role also includes performing basic technical procedures and maintaining accurate animal records. Additional responsibilities include cleaning and autoclaving equipment and caging, assisting with animal shipping and receiving, and supporting cagewash and facility operations.
The technician will communicate with veterinary and research staff on animal health and regulatory matters while adhering to all department guidelines and standard operating procedures.
