Superintendent – Construction

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Superintendent with a strong background in K-12 construction projects. This individual will oversee day-to-day field operations, manage subcontractors, enforce safety standards, and ensure projects are completed on schedule and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate has 10+ years of superintendent experience and can confidently lead field operations on educational construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

Oversee all on-site construction activities for K-12 projects Coordinate subcontractors, inspections, and daily project operations Maintain project schedules and ensure timely completion of milestones Enforce safety protocols and quality standards Conduct site meetings and maintain communication with project management teams Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and local regulations Preferred Location Candidates located in or near South Georgia are strongly preferred.

Requirements

10+ years of experience as a Superintendent Strong K-12 or educational construction experience required Excellent leadership and field coordination skills Strong understanding of construction sequencing and scheduling Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong commitment to safety and quality Benefits Salary range: $90,000 – $130,000 depending on experience and overall fit Truck allowance or company vehicle Per diem 401(k) PTO Professional development stipend
