Job description
Roles & Responsibilities The Production Manager – Valve Production is responsible for overseeing the end-to-end manufacturing operations of industrial valves, including planning, production, quality, safety, and delivery. The role ensures that products are manufactured efficiently, cost-effectively, and to the required quality standards while meeting production targets and customer delivery timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Production Management: Oversee the entire valve manufacturing process – from raw material receipt to final assembly and testing Plan and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules to meet customer needs and requirements Manage production lines for various valve types (e.g., gate, globe, ball, check, control, safety valves) Operational Excellence: Drive Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement initiatives Monitor and improve KPIs: production output, on-time delivery, quality yields, and equipment efficiency Optimize resource utilization, including manpower, machines, and materials Quality & Compliance: Ensure manufacturing compliance with ASME, API, ISO, PESO, and customer-specific standards Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for non-conformities and defects.
Work closely with Quality and Engineering teams to resolve product and process issues Team Leadership & Development: Lead, mentor, and develop production supervisors, engineers, and technicians Conduct performance reviews, skill development, and succession planning Foster a safety-first, results-driven, and collaborative team culture
