Job description
• Responsible for machine installation, debugging, and trial operation, ensuring equipment meets production and precision requirements
- Set machining parameters (spindle speed, feed rate, cutting depth) based on drawings and process requirements
- Perform first-piece machining for new or adjusted products and coordinate with inspectors to verify dimensions, tolerances, and surface quality
- Install, adjust, and calibrate tools, fixtures, and measuring instruments to ensure stable processing and required accuracy
- Conduct regular inspections of machine accuracy, spindle performance, guide rails, and positioning; handle or report abnormalities promptly
- Analyze and resolve machining issues such as dimensional deviations, surface defects, vibration (chatter), and abnormal tool wear
- Optimize machining processes, parameters, and clamping methods to improve efficiency and product quality
- Perform routine maintenance including cleaning, lubrication, tightening, and rust prevention
- Maintain accurate records of debugging, inspections, and issue handling to ensure traceability
- Collaborate with production, engineering, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure smooth operations
- Follow safety procedures and properly use protective equipment to prevent accidents
- Provide training and guidance to operators on equipment operation, parameter adjustment, and basic troubleshooting Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, CNC Machining, or related field
- 2–5+ years of experience in CNC machining, machine setup, or precision manufacturing (experience level can be adjusted)
- Familiar with CNC machines, machining processes, and precision equipment debugging
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, GD&T, and process documents
- Strong knowledge of machining parameters (cutting speed, feed rate, depth of cut) and process optimization
- Experience with tool selection, fixture setup, and measurement instruments
- Familiar with common machining issues (chatter, tool wear, surface defects) and troubleshooting methods
- Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and equipment inspection
- Proficient in using measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges, etc.)
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good communication and teamwork skills; able to coordinate with production and quality teams
- Willing to work in a workshop/production environment and handle shift or overtime if required
- Knowledge of safety standards and ability to follow operational procedures strictly
- Experience with CNC programming (Fanuc/Siemens) is a plus
- Basic English reading ability (for technical manuals) is a plus
