Senior Quantity Surveyor - Main Contractor (Developer)

Conduct land feasibility studies to assess project viability, including cost analysis and development potential. Participate in tendering for new projects, including preparation of tender documents such as Bills of Quantities (BQ) and cost estimations. Evaluate tenders submitted by contractors and sub-contractors to ensure competitiveness and compliance.

Monitor and control project costs, ensuring budgets are maintained from project inception through to completion. Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose value engineering solutions during both design and construction stages. Provide professional advice on cost-effective solutions while maintaining quality and meeting overall project objectives.

Carry out any other duties or assignments as required by immediate superior or management.

Requirements

Strong experience in tendering, with proven involvement in successful project tenders. Mandarin-speaking is required due to stakeholder and supplier communication. Experience handling large-scale projects; exposure to tenders valued above RM300 million will be an added advantage. Background in property developer is preferred; candidates from consultancy or main contractor are also welcome.

Open to candidates with project experience in infrastructure, commercial, residential, or high-rise developments. Passionate, driven to tender and pre-contract.
