Job description
The Peer Support Coordinator works as part of an interdisciplinary team and is responsible for the oversight and coordination of Foundry Surrey centre’s youth and family peer support programs. This position will collaborate closely with the Foundry Surrey manager to support implementation of programs, while coordinating and leading daily program activities and services.
They will provide leadership and supervision to Youth and Family Peer Support Workers, promoting integration and collaboration with other Foundry Surrey core services, including primary care, mental health, substance use and social services. The Peer Support Supervisor ensures quality peer support services are provided that are informed by youth and family/caregiver needs and preferences.
