Back-end Developer

Prior experience in healthcare or NHS-related projects. Knowledge of MIG connectors and EMR integration strategies. Familiarity with FHIR mapping tools or libraries. Exposure to Material UI and frontend-backend integration patterns. Experience with Rally or similar Agile project management tools. Understanding of data staleness indicators and progressive loading strategies Proficiency in FastAPI or similar Python-based web frameworks.

Experience designing and building RESTful APIs with healthcare data standards. Strong understanding of FHIR R4 UK and SNOMED CT data models. Familiarity with asynchronous data aggregation and caching strategies. Experience working with AWS services, including Secrets Manager. Ability to implement purpose-based access control, including role mapping and data suppression.

Comfortable working in a containerized development environment (e.g., Docker). Experience with mono-repo architecture and CI/CD pipelines. Understanding of pluggable authentication mechanisms (e.g., CIS2, Optum Healthcare One). Strong collaboration skills to work with frontend, data, and integration teams.
