Plant Manager – Chemical / Manufacturing

Responsible for managing plant operations, ensuring efficiency, safety, and delivery of production targets in a chemical/manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage daily plant operations to ensure production targets are met Set and monitor KPIs aligned to business objectives Control plant budget and drive cost optimisation initiatives Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and ISO standards Lead and develop plant teams across multiple functions Drive continuous improvement and operational excellence Manage CAPEX and improvement projects Report on plant performance to senior management Requirements & Experience Degree in Chemical / Mechanical / Industrial Engineering 6–10 years experience in manufacturing or chemical plants 3–5 years management experience Strong knowledge of plant operations and production systems Experience managing budgets and cost control Knowledge of safety and ISO standards Strong leadership and problem-solving skills Experience in continuous improvement methodologies
