Designation: ESG Analyst Domain: ESG Qualification: Any Science/Sustainability/Finance Degree Years of experience: 1+ Years Location: Wanowarie, Pune Employment Type: Full-time Reports to: Sustainability Manager/Head of ESG Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced ESG enthusiast to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for analysing and integrating environmental, social, and governance factors into our investment decisions, business operations, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
Environmental (E) Conduct research and analysis on environmental issues, such as climate change, biodiversity, and resource depletion. Evaluate company environmental performance, including carbon footprint, water usage, and waste management. Identify environmental risks and opportunities for investment portfolios. Social (S) Analyse social issues, such as human rights, labour standards, and community engagement.
Assess company social performance, including supply chain management and diversity, equity, and inclusion. Identify social risks and opportunities for investment portfolios. Governance (G) Evaluate corporate governance structures, board composition, and executive compensation. Assess risk management practices, auditing procedures, and transparency.
Identify governance risks and opportunities for investment portfolios Additional Responsibilities: Develop and maintain ESG metrics, reporting, and dashboards. Engage with stakeholders, including investors, companies, and NGOs. Collaborate with investment teams to integrate ESG factors into decision-making. Stay up to date with ESG trends, regulations, and industry best practices.
Contribute to ESG reporting and disclosure. Conduct ESG DD end to end Requirements: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., finance, sustainability, environmental science). Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, CDP, GRI) are advantageous. Strong analytical and research skills. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Nice to Have
Experience with BRSR reporting, LCA, CCTS Knowledge of international ESG frameworks and standards (e.g., UN SDGs, TCFD).
