Job description
Designation: Head Transaction – leasing, advisory & occupier solutions Location: Bengaluru Roles and Responsibilities:
- Business Development & Client Management
- Develop and manage relationships with key occupier and investor clients.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand the firm’s market share.
- Serve as a trusted advisor by providing strategic real estate solutions aligned with clients’ business objectives.
- Drive account profitability through effective strategy, client retention, and growth initiatives.
- Transaction Strategy & Execution
- Lead end-to-end transaction management including site identification, financial analysis, negotiation, and closure.
- Manage lease renewals, expansions, consolidations, relocations, and dispositions.
- Deliver comprehensive transaction reports, market studies, and financial models.
- Ensure adherence to compliance, governance, and client protocols.
- Team Leadership
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of transaction managers, analysts, and support staff.
- Set performance objectives and ensure team productivity and service quality.
- Encourage collaboration with project management, capital markets, and valuation teams.
- Market Intelligence & Strategy
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor movements, and emerging opportunities.
- Prepare and present market updates, benchmarking data, and portfolio analysis for clients.
- Contribute to thought leadership through insights, research inputs, and client seminars.
- Financial & Operational Accountability
- Drive revenue and profitability targets for the transactions vertical.
- Monitor project budgets, forecasting, and pipeline management.
- Ensure operational excellence and adherence to company standards. Key Skills & Competencies:
- Strong negotiation, communication, and client relationship skills.
- Excellent understanding of commercial real estate markets, leasing structures, and financial analysis.
- Strategic thinking and ability to translate business goals into actionable real estate plans.
- Proven leadership, people management, and presentation skills.
- Analytical mindset with proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and CRM tools. Qualification & Experience:
- MBA in Real Estate / Finance / Marketing or equivalent postgraduate degree.
- 12–18 years of relevant experience in transaction management, real estate advisory, or corporate real estate (preferably with IPCs or large developers).
- Proven track record of managing high-value deals and client portfolios.
