Job description

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Master’s Degree , PMP or Chartered/Prof. Engr(PEng) status is added advantage 10 to 18 years of total experience in the Oil & Gas, Refining, or Petrochemical industry. Minimum 5+ years of direct experience working within a major EPC/EPCM execution framework and complete life cycle of project is preferred Proven track record of successfully delivering large-scale, multi-million dollar upstream, midstream, or downstream projects.

Demonstrate readiness to relocate or travel to international execution centres, client headquarters, or remote project sites for extended durations Requirements Lead cross-functional engineering teams (Process, Mechanical, Piping, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil/Structural) to ensure cohesive project execution. Manage inter-disciplinary interfaces and resolve technical conflicts to maintain design consistency and schedule alignment.

Enforce compliance with international codes, standards and company/project-specific specifications. Oversee technical reviews, including HAZOP, HAZID, SIL, and 3D model reviews at 30%, 60%, and 90% completion stages. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for the client, building strong, transparent, and collaborative relationships.

Manage client expectations regarding technical deliverables, project schedule, and scope changes. Lead technical progress meetings, presentations, and project stage-gate reviews with client management teams. Negotiate and resolve technical queries (TQs) and deviation requests raised by the client. Drive the procurement engineering lifecycle, including the preparation of Material Requisitions (MRs) and Technical Bid Evaluations (TBEs).

Review and approve vendor data, drawings, and calculations to ensure seamless integration into the overall plant design. Expedite vendor deliverables to prevent engineering holds and support project schedule critical paths. Participate in Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and inspection alignments at vendor facilities.

Bridge the gap between home office engineering and the site construction team, resolving Constructability and Field Engineering Queries (FEQs). Manage the transition of engineering data to construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning phases. Provide on-site engineering support to resolve clashes, material shortages, or modification needs during installation.
