Translator (12 Month Contract)

Reporting to the Translation Manager, the Translator is responsible for translating, from English to French, a variety of normative texts, notices, decisions, speeches, and other specialized documents, to meet the needs of all the departments, by applying all the standard principles, techniques and processes inherent in the practice of the translator’s profession.

The Translator adapts texts as needed, to reflect the reality of Québec’s investment industry. The Translator adapts the language level used to the recipient (specialist or general public). The Translator ensures the coherence of the selected terms and standardizes the terminology used in each text.
