Manager Education-Nursing Professional Development

Overview

Responsible for leading the department to implement cost-effective and state-of-the-art learning technologies for the nursing staff at Wake. Med Health & Hospitals in accordance with accepted nursing education principles and guidelines. Using needs assessments, strategic plan, regulatory requirements, and nursing involvement, this position sets priorities and develops a plan to deliver nursing education to meet the nursing goals of the system.

Responsibilities include

nursing education administration and coordination, nursing continuing education, American Heart Association Programming, Nursing Orientation process, student computer programs training, and specific nursing leadership programs.National Certification in Nursing Required Department Description Serving the community since 1961, Wake.
