Position Summary

We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Interior Designer with a strong background in hospitality design. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing high-impact interior concepts that align with client goals and brand identity. This role requires hands-on project involvement from concept through completion, including space planning, FF&E selection, and coordination with vendors and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Design and develop interiors for hospitality projects including hotels, resorts, restaurants, and lounges. Collaborate with clients, architects, and internal teams to define design vision and deliverables. Create mood boards, material palettes, concept sketches, and design presentations. Produce detailed drawings, specifications, and FF&E schedules.

Source and select finishes, furniture, lighting, and accessories aligned with brand standards and design intent. Oversee design documentation in compliance with building codes, ADA, and other applicable regulations. Manage project timelines and budgets while maintaining design integrity. Coordinate with procurement and construction teams to ensure smooth execution and delivery.

Conduct site visits and resolve design-related issues during construction.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field. Minimum 3–5 years of experience in interior design with a strong emphasis on hospitality projects. Proficiency in design software including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office. Strong portfolio showcasing completed hospitality design projects.

Deep understanding of spatial planning, material selection, lighting, and current hospitality trends. Excellent communication, presentation, and client management skills. Knowledge of sustainability principles and wellness-focused design is a plus.

Preferred Skills

NCIDQ certification or working toward licensure. Experience with procurement processes for FF&E. Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
