Job Title: Inventory Executive Reports to: Logistics/Supply Chain Manager Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced Inventory Executive to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and controlling inventory levels, ensuring accurate inventory records, and optimizing inventory processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and control inventory levels, including monitoring stock levels, tracking inventory movements, and optimizing inventory turnover.
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date inventory records, including tracking inventory discrepancies and resolving inventory issues.
- Analyze inventory trends and forecast inventory requirements to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Implement and maintain inventory management processes and procedures, including cycle counting, stock takes, and inventory reporting.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including logistics, procurement, and sales, to ensure alignment and effective inventory management.
- Identify and implement opportunities for inventory optimization, including reducing inventory costs, improving inventory turnover, and enhancing inventory accuracy.
- Prepare and analyze inventory reports, including inventory turnover, inventory costs, and inventory discrepancies.
Nice to Have
- Certification in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CLTD, or CISM).
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Knowledge of lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in inventory management, logistics, or supply chain management.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficient in inventory management software and systems, such Uni ware.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
