Automotive Lube Technician Horne Mazda – Tempe, AZ Full-Time | Up to $24 Per Hour DOE Launch Your Automotive Career with a Growing Dealership! Above-average compensation Paid factory training and certification opportunities Hands-on mentorship from Senior Master Technicians Clearly defined career path into a Mainline Technician role Stable, growing dealership with long-term career opportunities Team-oriented culture that values hard work and professional development Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance including oil changes, tire rotations, fluid services, filter replacements, belts, and basic brake services Conduct multi-point vehicle inspections Assist Senior Master Technicians with diagnostics and repairs Perform repairs within your current skill level while continuing to develop your technical abilities Identify additional maintenance or repair needs and communicate findings to the Service Advisor Accurately document all completed work on repair orders Road test vehicles when appropriate Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment Follow all Mazda and dealership safety procedures Qualifications 1+ year of automotive experience in a dealership or independent repair shop preferred Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn EVIT, UTI, AAI, or other automotive training is a plus Strong work ethic with a positive, team-oriented attitude Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service department High school diploma or equivalent Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record Build Your Career with Horne Mazda At Horne Mazda, this is more than just a job—it's the beginning of a career.
