Role Overview: Orbit International Survey Services LLC is seeking an experienced Engineer – Mechanical Completion (E&I) to support oil & gas, offshore, marine, and EPC projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical Completion activities, conducting E&I system walkdowns, managing punch lists, verifying inspection and test records, and ensuring systems are ready for safe handover to the commissioning team.

Key Responsibilities

Coordinate Mechanical Completion activities for Electrical & Instrumentation systems. Perform system walkdowns and prepare/close punch list items. Verify installation, inspection, testing, calibration, and completion records. Review Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs) and turnover documentation. Coordinate with Construction, QA/QC, Commissioning, and Client representatives.

Ensure compliance with project specifications, drawings, ITPs, and international standards. Support system handover and commissioning readiness activities. Prepare Mechanical Completion reports and maintain project documentation.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Instrumentation Engineering, or a related discipline. Minimum 5 years of experience in Mechanical Completion, E&I Construction, QA/QC, or Commissioning within the Oil & Gas, Offshore, Marine, or EPC industry. Experience with Mechanical Completion Packages (MCPs), punch list management, and system turnover.

Familiarity with P&IDs, Loop Drawings, Single Line Diagrams, Wiring Diagrams, and commissioning documentation. Knowledge of E&I testing activities, including loop checks, continuity testing, insulation resistance testing, and instrument calibration. Familiarity with IEC, ISA, API, ASME, and relevant industry standards.

Strong communication, coordination, and documentation skills.
