
Job description
We run qna.tax — a community platform where Indian taxpayers get plain-language answers to real tax questions. We also send a weekly newsletter curating the best threads to our audience. We're looking for a full-time Content Writer to research and write clear, accurate content on Indian tax and personal finance — turning complex topics like TDS, capital gains, GST, and ITR filing into something a regular person can understand and act on.
This is a great role if you're early in your career, have a genuine interest in tax and finance, and want to build a public writing portfolio that helps thousands of Indian taxpayers every week.
What you'll do
Research and write threads for qna.tax covering income tax, TDS, GST, capital gains, and ITR filing Curate and write the weekly newsletter summarizing the top threads for our audience Answer community questions with well-researched, factual replies Keep existing content updated as tax rules and CBDT notifications change Write explainers around new tax forms, budget announcements, and compliance deadlines Requirements Must have Basic understanding of Indian income tax — know what Form 16, TDS, and capital gains mean Clear, simple writing — no jargon, no fluff, no AI-sounding filler Ability to research from credible sources: CBDT, Income Tax Department, taxmann, caclubindia Comfortable writing in a Q&A and community format Reliable and consistent — we publish on a schedule and need someone who can too Good to have Background in commerce, CA foundation, MBA (Finance), or similar Prior writing samples — blog posts, forum replies, LinkedIn notes, or anything showing you explain things clearly Familiarity with qna.
