The Network Engineer III role at UCT is designed for an experienced professional who can design, deploy, and maintain enterprise networking technologies across LAN, VoIP, WLAN, and SDWAN environments; responsibilities include configuring routers, switches, and wireless controllers, ensuring high availability, troubleshooting complex issues, optimizing monitoring tools, and automating deployments, while also serving as a mentor and escalation point for junior engineers; candidates should bring deep knowledge of Cisco networking, NGFWs, VLANs, routing protocols, and SDWAN, hold certifications such as CCIE or AWS Advanced Networking, and have at least six years of network infrastructure experience, making this a pivotal position in supporting UCT’s global IT and business goals.
