About The Role

The Senior Consultant – Corporate Finance & Restructuring will have day-to-day accountability for the delivery of formal insolvency appointments, restructuring engagements, board of director appointments, distressed asset sales, fraud and complex financial investigations, litigation support and other business advisory services.

As part of a small and growing practice in the BVI, the successful candidate will gain significant hands-on experience and contribute meaningfully to the delivery of engagements. What You Will Need

to Succeed In order to apply for this position, the successful candidate must satisfy the following requirements: A qualified professional accountant and a member of an internationally recognised regulatory body Bachelor’s (or equivalent) degree in a relevant subject At least 3 years’ relevant experience in insolvency and restructuring, preferably within a large international accounting firm.

Some experience in the British Virgin Islands or another offshore jurisdiction would also be desirable Proven experience dealing with insolvency and/or restructuring assignments in the financial services sector, in particular investment funds Effective communicator, with good listening skills and the ability to communicate in a clear and professional manner, both verbally and in writing Close attention to detail with excellent organisational and analytical skills Experience coaching and mentoring of junior staff Motivated and ambitious, with the ability to take initiative and learn from previous experience Fully proficient using Microsoft Office, in particular Excel, Word and PowerPoint Willing and flexible to work overtime at short notice (including weekends), as required Benefits The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary, excellent on-the-job training, opportunities to pursue professional qualifications and scope for career development, and a full benefits package, including health insurance and contributory pension plan.
