Role Summary

We’re not looking for a “visual artist.” We’re hiring a performance-first Senior Designer who can create high-impact creatives that drive attention, trust, and conversions across: Ads Social media Landing pages Marketplaces (Amazon) Your mandate is simple: Design creatives that don’t just look good—but perform and scale revenue.

You will work closely with: Growth & Performance Team Social Media Team Copywriters Editors & Videographers Founders What You Will Own (KRAs)

  1. Performance Creative Design (Core Ownership) Design: Static ads (Meta, Google) Social creatives (Instagram, YouTube) Landing page visuals Amazon creatives (A+ content, product images) Focus on: Scroll-stopping visuals Clear communication Conversion-first design You are responsible for: “Does this creative make people stop and click?”
  2. Creative Testing Engine Create: Multiple variations per concept Different layouts, hooks, and visual directions Enable: Rapid A/B testing You are responsible for: “How many testable creatives can we generate weekly?”
  3. Visual Communication & Clarity Translate: Complex product benefits Pain → solution → outcome Into: Simple, easy-to-understand visuals You are responsible for: “Can someone understand this in under 2 seconds?”
  4. Brand System & Consistency Build and maintain: Visual identity Design systems Templates Ensure: Consistency across all touchpoints You are responsible for: “Does everything feel like one cohesive brand?”
  5. Platform-Native Design Adapt design for: Instagram Paid ads Amazon Website You are responsible for: “Does this design fit the platform context?”
  6. Amazon & Conversion Design Create: Product images Infographics A+ content You are responsible for: “Does this improve conversion on marketplaces?”
  7. Performance-Led Iteration (Critical) Work with Growth team to: Analyze creative performance Identify winning patterns Translate insights into: Better design directions Faster iterations You are responsible for: “How do our creatives improve week-on-week?”
  8. Cross-Team Collaboration Collaborate with: Copywriters (messaging) Editors (video overlays) Social team (content formats) KPIs (How You’ll Be Measured) Core Metrics CTR (Click Through Rate) Target: +15–30% improvement via design Conversion Rate (CVR) Impact on: Landing pages Amazon listings Creative Output Velocity Target: 15–25 high-quality creatives/week Variation Output 3–5 variations per concept Winning Creative Ratio 20–30% of creatives outperform baseline Visual Clarity Score Message understood in < 2 seconds Turnaround Time 48–72 hours (concept → final) Brand Consistency Across ads, social, website, Amazon What “Good” Looks Like Designs that are: Simple Clear High-impact Thinks in: Layouts Visual hierarchy Attention flow Strong understanding of: Indian consumer behavior D2C buying triggers Can clearly answer: “Why did this creative perform?” What We Don’t Want Aesthetic-only designers Overly complex or cluttered visuals People who ignore performance data Designers who don’t iterate fast Requirements Must-Have Skills Strong expertise in: Adobe Photoshop Adobe Illustrator Figma Canva (for speed workflows) Proven experience with: D2C brands Ad creatives Social media design Bonus (Nice to Have) Experience in: Health / Wellness category Understanding of: Amazon marketplace design Basic knowledge of: Video editing / motion design Final Note This is not a traditional design role. This is about building creatives that perform, scale, and drive revenue. We’re looking for someone who can think like a marketer and execute like a designer.
