Job Description: Essential Duties and Responsibilities The Junior Staff Accountant plays a crucial role in the Accounting Department, including maintaining financial records and reports, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with close processes. In addition, the Junior Staff Accountant supports the other Finance team members as needed and responds to information requests and inquiries from the Management team and Anticimex Platforms.
This is an in-office role in Warren, NJ. Perform various month-end journal entries and account reconciliations Support Finance team members with reporting and analysis needs Assist with internal control reviews and process improvement initiatives Assist with cash management and corporate credit card expense reconciliation Assist with internal & external financial statement audits, and tax audits Perform ad hoc projects as assigned throughout the year Provide backup for other roles within the accounting department Be a contributor to routine monthly and quarterly management reporting deliverables Qualifications and Education Requirements Bachelor's degree in accounting, business, or finance Minimum of three (3) years of experience in an accounting or finance related role Intermediate to advanced Excel skills Knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles in the US) US employment eligibility without visa sponsorship Required Skills Ability to keep and maintain confidential information Ability to change focus frequently, prioritize, and organize efficiently Strong attention to detail Ability to work in a team-based environment Strong oral and written communication skills Ability to perform the essential job functions, including meeting qualitative and/or quantitative productivity standards safely and successfully, with or without accommodations Ability to talk, listen, and speak clearly on the telephone Experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred Physical Requirements Sitting, standing, walking, reaching writing and typing 67% - 100% of the time Ability to move freely about the office Hearing and vision corrected to normal range Anticimex, Inc.
