Job description
We’re seeking a dedicated Sign Language Interpreter (SLI) with school-based experience to support students at a respected educational facility in Snoqualmie, WA. This is a fantastic opportunity to enhance your interpreting skills in a collaborative and student-centered environment. You’ll play a key role in facilitating communication by interpreting educational and general content using American Sign Language (ASL) or other appropriate methods for individuals who are deaf or hard of hearing.

- Deliver high-quality sign language interpretation services to students and staff
- Interpret a variety of spoken content, including lectures, discussions, meetings, events, and announcements
- Evaluate accommodation requests and coordinate interpreting services for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Ensure all services are compliant with Section 504 and the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED (Associate degree preferred)
- Certification in American Sign Language (ASL) via BEI or RID
- EIPA score of 3.5 or higher required
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Minimum of 6 months of recent experience within the last 5 years preferred Benefits
