DLT - Senior Engineering Manager

Position: Senior Engineering Manager Experience: 15–18 Years Location: Kochi / Trivandrum Notice Period: Immediate Joiners or Candidates Serving Notice Period (Up to 30 Days) Primary Skills: Java, Spring Boot, Angular About the Role We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Engineering Manager to lead and mentor high-performing engineering teams while driving the design, development, and delivery of scalable enterprise applications.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in Java-based technologies and Angular, combined with proven leadership experience in managing software engineering teams and delivering complex projects.

Key Responsibilities

Lead, mentor, and manage multiple software engineering teams. Drive end-to-end software development lifecycle activities, including planning, design, development, testing, deployment, and support. Provide technical leadership for enterprise-grade applications built using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular. Collaborate with product managers, architects, and stakeholders to define technical roadmaps and delivery plans.

Ensure adherence to engineering best practices, coding standards, security guidelines, and quality processes. Oversee project execution, resource allocation, risk management, and timely delivery of projects. Conduct performance reviews, career development planning, and team-building initiatives. Drive continuous improvement in engineering processes, DevOps practices, and agile methodologies.

Resolve technical challenges and provide architectural guidance to development teams. Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence within the engineering organization.

Requirements

Required Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 15–18 years of experience in software development and engineering leadership roles. Strong hands-on experience in Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, and Angular. Proven experience managing and leading engineering teams in enterprise software environments.

Strong understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable application development. Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and project delivery management. Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills. Experience with cloud platforms, DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software development tools is highly preferred.

Preferred Skills

Expertise in Microservices Architecture. Experience with Cloud Platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.
