We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Fund/Client Accounting to join our UK Conversions Onboarding team.

This role is located in Manchester.

Overview

Supports the seamless onboarding and integration of both new client mandates and internal migrations into BNY’s operating model. Working closely with the Client Activation Management and cross-functional teams, this role assists in coordinating client onboarding activities, gathering requirements, and facilitating communication to ensure a smooth transition from sales to operations.

This position is ideal for candidates eager to develop expertise in financial services operations, client onboarding, and stakeholder management. In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways: Assist as a point of contact for clients during onboarding, helping to manage expectations and respond to inquiries.

Support the preparation of onboarding workshops and working sessions. Collect and document requirements, supporting gap analysis of incumbent data against BNY’s standard platform requirements. Maintain clear and organized records of integration plans. Collaborate with operations, Engineering, and product teams to support cross-functional onboarding efforts.

Assist in migration planning and tracking implementation milestones to ensure timely delivery. Contribute to solution design discussions by providing operational insights and escalating issues as needed. Stay informed on relevant regulatory and operational frameworks impacting onboarding processes. To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following: Bachelor’s degree in accounting or the equivalent combination of education and experience.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a client-focused mindset. Basic understanding of financial services operations and client onboarding processes is a plus. Detail-oriented with good organizational and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; familiarity with project management software is advantageous.
