Performs set-up for a variety of production machines to operate at output quality standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Prepares and performs set-up for a variety of production machines. Conducts regular checks for quality. Performs minor machine maintenance repairs. Performs tooling maintenance repairs. Read blueprints and copy prototypes for making set-ups. May perform repairs on previously manufactured products and/or make prototypes. Uses knowledge of the machine capacities and abilities for set-up responsibilities. May be required to program computerized numerical control equipment. Instructs machine operators on proper operation and use o
