Position: Purchase Executive. Location: Patna, Bihar Job Summary: A Purchase Executive in a retail pharmacy drives cost-effective procurement of medicines, OTC products, and healthcare goods. They source reliable vendors, negotiate pricing and trade schemes, and prevent stock-outs or overstocking to optimize supply chain efficiency and maximize profitability.
Key Responsibilities
Source and evaluate pharmaceutical suppliers, negotiate favorable terms (credit periods, trade schemes), and process accurate purchase orders. Inventory & Stock Management: Monitor inventory levels to prevent both stock-outs and excess stock. Revisit reorder levels and maintain optimal stock quantities. Regulatory & Quality Compliance: Ensure all procured Medicines and healthcare products and meet national/regional legislation and regulatory standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy (B. Pharma), Supply Chain Management, or Business Administration. Experience: Minimum 1 to 5+ years of experience in medical/pharmaceutical procurement or retail supply chain management. Skills: Strong vendor negotiation, inventory analysis, and proficiency in ERP software (such as SAP MM) or computerized pharmacy management systems.
