Heavy Equipment or Truck Mechanic - $30/hr

Eagle County Government is looking to fill one position; however, we are willing to consider applicants of all levels. See the descriptions & qualifications for all levels of Heavy Mechanic I and II, below.

The hiring ranges are the following:

Mechanic I: $30-$35.65 Mechanic II: $32.31-$38.50

Heavy Mechanic I: The Heavy Mechanic will service and perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on County equipment. This is an entry-level position with the possibility of advancement.

Heavy Mechanic II: The Heavy Mechanic II will perform preventive maintenance, diagnoses, and repair work on County equipment. This is a journey-level, skilled position with advancement opportunities.

Schedule: 4-10's, Tuesday- Friday; 7am-5:30pm
