Job Description At IPS, we are global leaders in developing innovative solutions for the consulting, architecture, engineering, project controls, procurement, construction management, and CQV of technically complex facilities, primarily in the life sciences industry. We are looking for a dedicated PMO portfolio manager to join our talented team at our office located in Montes Claros, Brazil .
In this role, you will: Lead portfolio governance for strategic initiatives, ensuring successful progression through Stage Gate 1, 2, and 3 approval processes. Partner with business sponsors to develop, review, and strengthen business cases, investment proposals, and executive decision packages. Manage portfolio documentation, ensuring all approvals, financial analyses, risks, schedules, and supporting artifacts are complete and aligned with governance requirements.
Drive consistent project management standards across the portfolio, including reporting, risk management, issue escalation, and benefits tracking. Prepare executive dashboards, portfolio reports, and presentations to support senior leadership and investment committee decision-making. Facilitate governance reviews, stakeholder alignment, and escalation of critical risks, dependencies, and funding decisions.
Serve as the primary interface between business, finance, PMO, and leadership teams to ensure strategic alignment and delivery readiness.
Qualifications
& Requirements 8 to 10 years of experience Have experience in Portfolio Management, PMO, Program Management, or Capital Investment Governance. Are skilled in managing Stage Gate approval frameworks and executive governance processes. Have strong business case development, financial analysis, and investment planning experience.
Can manage multiple projects, priorities, risks, and stakeholders simultaneously. Have experience preparing executive presentations, portfolio dashboards, and leadership reports. Possess strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Are confident engaging with senior leaders and facilitating decision-making discussions.
Are an excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to translate complex information into clear recommendations for leadership. Professional English All interviews are conducted either in person or virtually, with video required .
