Vehicle Appraiser Location: Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent Salary: Up to £28,000 DOE About the Role We are looking for a professional and detail-oriented Vehicle Appraiser to join our busy team in Hanley. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong automotive background who is passionate about vehicle inspections, valuations, and delivering excellent customer service.

As a Vehicle Appraiser, you will be responsible for accurately assessing the condition and value of vehicles, ensuring all appraisals are completed to a high standard. You will work closely with the sales and purchasing teams to support stock acquisition and provide customers with a seamless experience.

Your Role

Carry out accurate vehicle appraisals, assessing condition, history, and market value Inspect vehicles for mechanical, cosmetic, and structural condition Upload vehicles to the website Identify refurbishment requirements and estimate associated costs Liaise with the sales and buying teams to support stock purchasing decisions Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections and valuations Keep up to date with current market trends and used vehicle pricing Ensure all appraisals are completed efficiently and in line with company standards About You: We are looking for someone who: Has previous experience as a Vehicle Appraiser, Vehicle Inspector, Sales Executive, or within a similar automotive role Has a strong knowledge of vehicle makes, models, specifications, and market values Can confidently assess vehicle condition and identify repair requirements Has excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills Is confident communicating with customers and colleagues in a professional manner Can work independently while also contributing as part of a team Is able to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks effectively Must be computer literate Holds a full valid UK driving licence What We Offer: Competitive salary of up to £28,000 DOE 31 days holiday Ongoing training and development Career progression opportunities within a growing organisation Supportive and collaborative working environment Employee discounts across the Group Opportunity to work with a well-established and respected automotive retailer About Holdcroft Holdcroft Motor Group is a leading automotive retailer committed to delivering exceptional customer service and investing in our people.
