Warehouse Supervisor

Role Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor Intern supports the day-to-day operations of the warehouse by ensuring efficient receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods while maintaining accurate inventory records. The role assists in stock control, warehouse organization, and compliance with safety and operational standards to minimize stock losses, damages, and inventory discrepancies.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily offloading, receiving, storage, and loading of goods to ensure efficient warehouse operations. Monitor inventory movement by maintaining accurate records of stock received, stored, and dispatched. Ensure proper stock organization, labeling, and storage to optimize warehouse space and facilitate easy retrieval.

Conduct routine stock checks and inventory reconciliations to maintain stock accuracy and integrity. Monitor warehouse stock conditions to minimize product damages, losses, and stock variances. Ensure compliance with warehouse safety procedures, operational standards, and company policies. Coordinate with logistics, procurement, and sales teams to ensure timely movement and availability of inventory.

Prepare inventory reports and maintain warehouse documentation, including stock registers and movement records. Identify and report stock discrepancies, damaged goods, and operational issues, and support corrective actions. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance warehouse efficiency, inventory accuracy, and overall operational performance.

Perform other warehouse operations and inventory management duties as assigned.
