Temporary Finance Administrator
Job description
Red Ember Recruitment is seeking a Temporary Finance Administrator based in Woodstock. Our client is seeking a highly organised and adaptable Temporary Finance Administrator to provide support to the finance department during a busy period. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing key accounting functions, assisting with administrative tasks, and working closely with both the production and sales teams.
This role requires an individual who can hit the ground running, learn quickly, and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Process and maintain the cashbook accurately. Manage debtors, including allocations, reconciliations, and collections support. Process creditors, supplier invoices, reconciliations, and payments. Perform general finance and administrative duties as required. Assist with ad hoc projects and reporting requested by the CFO.
Liaise effectively with the Production and Sales departments to resolve queries and ensure smooth financial operations. Maintain accurate financial records and supporting documentation. Ensure all work is completed accurately and within required deadlines.
Requirements
Previous experience in a finance or accounting administration role. Solid experience with an ERP system or accounting software (experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central is highly advantageous). Strong Microsoft Excel skills. Experience with cashbook, debtors, and creditors functions. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to interact confidently with multiple departments. Fast learner with the ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
