Job description
We are seeking on behalf of our client a reliable and experienced Payroll Officer to join a supportive and collaborative team in their Limassol office. The role covers the entire payroll cycle — from data entry and processing through to bank submission — ensuring accurate and timely payments for all employees within a structured and compliance-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the full payroll process from data entry to bank submission, ensuring timely and accurate payment for all employees
- Collect, verify, and process payroll data including salaries, bonuses, deductions, and adjustments
- Administer and maintain Provident Fund contributions and records in line with applicable regulations
- Process and reconcile time and attendance data, identifying discrepancies and resolving issues
- Ensure compliance with local labour laws, tax regulations, and internal policies
- Coordinate with HR and Finance departments to ensure accurate employee records
- Prepare payroll reports and summaries for management review
- Respond to employee queries regarding pay, deductions, and benefits in a timely manner
- Maintain confidentiality of all payroll and employee data Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll or similar finance/HR role
- Solid understanding of payroll principles, tax regulations, and statutory deductions in Cyprus
- Experience with Provident Fund administration
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Proficiency in payroll software and MS Excel
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet strict deadlines
- Excellent communication skills in English (Greek is an advantage)
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism Nice to Have
