JOB OVERVIEW

  • Job Title: Gastroenterologist
  • Job Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

  • Service Setting: Outpatient/ Inpatient
  • Coverage Type: Clinical + Call
  • Clinical Shift Schedule: M-F; 9am- 5pm
  • Call Schedule: 10 days of call per month & weekend call 1:4 PATIENT INFORMATION
  • Patient Demographics: Adults
  • Patient Volume/Census: TBD FACILITY INFORMATION
  • Clinic within 0.5 mile of Hospital and GI Lab
  • Office equipment available: 4 procedure rooms in Endoscopy, State-of-the-Art Equipment
  • Support Staff Available: 2 GI physicians (willing to mentor ERCP), full clinic support team, including clinical educators and nursing staff PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE
  • Hospital Privileges Required: No (100% outpatient) COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
  • Salary: $700,000 base salary plus production bonus opportunity

  • Licenses: Arkansas medical license (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Certifications: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
  • Experience: Preferred but not required for qualified candidates
  • Other Qualifications:
  • Strong interest in building a new specialty service line
  • Excellent communication and collaborative skills DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with gastrointestinal and digestive disorders in clinic and hospital settings
  • Perform endoscopic procedures including EGD, colonoscopy, and other diagnostic and therapeutic GI interventions
  • Provide inpatient consultations and participate in a shared call schedule
  • Collaborate with experienced Gastroenterologists, certified GI nurses, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver comprehensive patient care
  • Utilize advanced endoscopy equipment and technology to provide high-quality GI services
  • Support the growth and development of the Gastroenterology service line while maintaining excellent patient outcomes and satisfaction
