Job description
The Painter is responsible for preparing surfaces and applying primers, sealers, paints, and other protective and decorative finishes to manufactured products and construction supply. The Painter reads manufacturing and construction drawings and project specifications to select appropriate undercoats and topcoats (when not specified by the customer) and to phase and plan the painting work.
The Painter ensures all coatings are applied accurately and consistently to meet quality standards, project specifications, and production schedules.
