We are seeking a dedicated and passionate SST (Social Studies and Science) Teacher to join our CBSE-affiliated institution. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality education, fostering critical thinking, and nurturing students' understanding of social sciences and related disciplines. This position is essential for shaping well-rounded, informed learners who are prepared for academic success and active civic engagement.
The teacher will be responsible for curriculum delivery, student assessment, and contributing to a dynamic, inclusive learning environment.
Responsibilities
Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned lessons in Social Studies and Science for CBSE students. Develop and implement lesson plans that promote inquiry-based learning and critical thinking. Assess student performance through regular tests, assignments, and projects. Provide constructive feedback and support to help students achieve academic growth.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching strategies and school-wide educational initiatives. Participate in school events, parent-teacher meetings, and professional development activities. Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, or a related field; postgraduate qualification preferred. Valid teaching certification (B.Ed) with experience in CBSE curriculum. Strong subject knowledge in History, Geography, Political Science, and Environmental Science. Proven experience in classroom teaching, preferably at the secondary level.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Ability to use technology effectively in teaching and assessment. Willingness to reside on campus and utilize provided food and accommodation. Location: Rajasthan Salary: ₹35,000 per month Benefits: Food and accommodation provided
