- Please apply using "Jobs Hub" in Workday. This career site is for external applicants only. Job Description: Job Summary The Commercial Driver has a Class A Commercial’s Driver’s License (CDL-A), safely drives units day or night in all weather conditions and complies with all safety regulations.
Responsibilities
Safely and legally drive company owned units day or night, on various road types, and in all weather conditions (occasionally over long distances) Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspection of equipment each job Accurately maintain driver logs Verify and complete required documentation and reports Follow instructions and complete the required training Work variable schedule to meet business needs Maintain and utilize required safety equipment Maintain compliance with Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies by attending all required HSE training sessions, safety meetings, and always utilize proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Other duties as assigned Qualifications Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience, required Maintaining a valid and current CDL-A and a clean driving record, required Minimum 21 years of age, required Familiarity with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) regulations, required Able to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) pre-employment drug test and physical examination, required Able to pass a road test, required Able to operate both manual and automatic transmissions, required Able to perform Pre- and Post-trip Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) inspection, required Must be familiar with electronic logging devices Clear verbal and written communication skills, must be able to read, write, speak, and follow directions in English Physical Demands The physical demands described here represent those required for an employee to successfully perform the role’s essential functions.
