Job Responsibilities
Overview
Lead HR and General Affairs operations (excluding labor relations) as a hands-on manager, strengthening organizational capability while overseeing daily operations. Scope may expand based on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee HR operations including workforce management, transfers, attendance, and social insurance Draft and manage work rules and internal regulations; improve working conditions Design and operate HR systems covering organization design, compensation, performance management, job grades, benefits, and talent development Manage General Affairs functions including office operations, contracts, assets, and crisis management Lead and develop the HR & GA team (5–6 members) Prepare HR-related KPIs and provide insights and recommendations to executive management Oversee administrative assets including company housing, leased vehicles, and IT equipment Requirements Qualifications & Requirements Mandatory Bachelor’s degree or higher Native-level Japanese (reading, writing, speaking) Minimum 5 years of hands-on HR experience Proficient in basic PC tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Solid knowledge of working hours management, payroll, internal regulations, and Japanese labor laws (Labor Standards Act, Labor Contract Act, Industrial Safety and Health Act) Preferred Working knowledge of English (reading/writing; basic conversation, TOEIC 500–600) Certifications such as Social Insurance & Labor Consultant or Health Supervisor Practical experience in payroll, social insurance, HR systems, and policy revisions Experience in onboarding/training programs or HR roles within staffing or human capital industries Personal Attributes Strong multitasking and organizational skills Collaborative and clear communicator Proactive, improvement-oriented, and comfortable with change High ownership, accountability, and problem-solving mindset Internal customer–focused approach Benefits Career Path
