Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Air Cargo Trainer to deliver high-quality training in air cargo operations. The ideal candidate will have extensive industry experience, preferably as a retired airline professional, and a strong ability to translate practical knowledge into effective learning sessions. Certification in IATA cargo courses is desirable but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Design and deliver training programs related to air cargo operations, including: Cargo handling procedures Dangerous goods regulations Air waybill documentation Warehouse and logistics processes Conduct classroom and/or virtual training sessions for students and professionals Develop training materials, presentations, and course content aligned with industry standards (e.
g., IATA guidelines) Assess trainee performance and provide feedback and evaluation reports Stay updated with current air cargo regulations and industry trends Mentor and guide trainees for career development in the air cargo sector Required Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 8–15 years of experience in air cargo operations, logistics, or airline cargo services Preferably retired or former employee of an airline, cargo operator, or freight forwarding company Strong practical knowledge of air cargo processes and compliance standards IATA Cargo Certification (preferred but not mandatory) Prior teaching or training experience in air cargo or aviation-related subjects is an advantage Requirements Excellent communication and presentation skills Strong interpersonal and mentoring abilities Ability to simplify complex cargo regulations and procedures Proficiency in training tools (PowerPoint, LMS platforms, etc.)
