Job description

How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities) + Responsible for the reliability,defining/maintaining/improving the configuration, and maintenance program oftheir assigned engines, engine systems, and/or APU's. + Provides communication to Tech Ops leadership forsignificant issues on assigned equipment/responsibilities.

  • Provides oversight and technical direction for assignedequipment/responsibilities including engine workscopes, maintenance of. Reliability Program technical requirements and Maintenance Programs. + Responsible for development of technicalrecommendations/justifications for corrective action plans due to Reliability. Program requirements and various FAA/QA/CAS audit findings.

  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with all FAAregulations and Delta procedures for the applicable engineeringprocesses/procedures utilized by the team. + Responsible for supporting the development of the enginemaintenance budget for Delta engines and performing cost analysis to addressbudgetary issues. + Responsible for supporting the development of costingdata, engine removal forecasts, and other technical portions of the contractsfor Delta Tech.

Ops' customers. + Also involves direct support for engine maintenance shopsand test cell by providing shop visit management and troubleshooting forassigned Delta and MRO equipment. + Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operationalprocesses and procedures. What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications) + Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Aerospace/Aeronautical.

Engineering preferred. + Engineering degrees (such as Structural or Chemical) and. Engineering/Aerospace Technology degrees may be considered if applicant hassufficient related work experience. + Prior turbine engine or repair experience preferred. + Exceptional Microsoft Office familiarity required as wellas cost analysis and presentation skills.

  • Must have strong written and verbal communication skillsas well as multi-task abilities, strong analytical skills, strong interpersonalskills, organization skills, and time-management skills. + Must be performing satisfactorily in present position. + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self,others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles. + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high schoolequivalency. + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to workin the United States.
