BIOS Development Engineer

Hiring: BIOS Development Engineer (x86 BIOS/UEFI) ? Location: Whitefield, Bangalore ? Employment Type: Full-Time ?‍? Experience: 8–15 Years ? Open Positions: 4 We are looking for experienced BIOS Development Engineers with strong expertise in x86 BIOS/UEFI development, platform bring-up, and low-level firmware engineering.

Requirements

? Mandatory Skills:

• 8–15 years of experience in x86 BIOS/UEFI Development
• Strong expertise in C Programming
• Experience with x86 CPU/APU architectures
• Hands-on experience with BIOS codebases: AMI, Insyde, Phoenix, coreboot, EDKII
• Expertise in BIOS boot stages – SEC, PEI, DXE, BDS
• Strong understanding of PCDs, UPDs, SPI ROM, FSP, Device Tree & BIOS handoff flow
• Experience with platform bring-up and BIOS preparation
• Strong knowledge of protocols: I2C, PCIe, SPI, eSPI, ACPI, SMM, IPMI, UEFI
• Experience with debugging tools: AMD HDT, BIOSDebugger, ITP, Arium
• Hands-on experience with coreboot, FSP source code & UEFI payloads
• Experience with storage protocols: AHCI, SATA, NVMe
• Understanding of EC, BMC, security processor & memory training firmware
• Exposure to pre-silicon BIOS development & emulation platforms (Zebu, Palladium, Veloce
