We're looking for Machine Setters who thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and know that every adjustment, every changeover and every fine-tuned setting makes a difference.
As a Machine Setter, you'll be the person who keeps our production lines operating safely, efficiently and consistently. You'll ensure every machine is perfectly set up so our products leave the line meeting the highest quality standards. Your day could include: Setting up production machines according to SOPs. Configuring machines for different product sizes, packaging and fill settings.
Performing quick and efficient production changeovers. Preparing machines before production starts. Fine-tuning machine settings to maximise efficiency. Monitoring machine performance and identifying issues early. Performing basic troubleshooting and setup adjustments. Escalating mechanical or electrical faults to the Machine Technician.
Maintaining critical production settings including fill levels, sealing and torque. Following GMP, hygiene, safety and 5S standards at all times.
Requirements
2–5 years' experience as a Machine Setter or within a production environment Experience with machine setup, adjustments and production changeovers Experience operating production equipment efficiently What Makes You Stand Out: Matric / Grade 12 Strong mechanical aptitude Excellent problem-solving skills Great attention to detail Good communication skills Team player Ability to work under pressure Highly disciplined when following procedures Bonus Points If You Have: FMCG manufacturing experience Cosmetics manufacturing experience Experience working within a GMP-controlled environment A technical qualification
