Summary We are seeking a motivated and creative Video Editor Intern to join our dynamic education technology team. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate or early-career professional passionate about digital content creation and educational media. As a Video Editor Intern, you will play a vital role in producing high-quality, engaging video content that supports our mission to deliver impactful learning experiences.
You will collaborate with instructional designers, educators, and content creators to transform educational materials into visually compelling, student-friendly videos. This internship offers hands-on experience in video editing, storytelling, and multimedia production within the education sector, providing a strong foundation for a career in educational technology and digital media.
Responsibilities
Edit and produce educational videos using industry-standard software Assist in the post-production process, including video trimming, color correction, audio balancing, and adding graphics and animations. Collaborate with content creators to ensure video narratives align with learning objectives and pedagogical standards.
Organize and maintain digital media assets, including raw footage, edited videos, and project files. Apply branding guidelines and style templates to ensure consistency across all video content. Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop innovative visual storytelling techniques for educational topics. Support the team in preparing video content for various platforms, including LMS, YouTube, and mobile learning apps.
Follow feedback and make revisions to meet quality and timeline expectations.
Requirements
Fresh graduate or currently pursuing a degree in Film & Video Production, Media & Communication, Multimedia Design, or a related field. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, or Da. Vinci Resolve. Basic understanding of color grading, audio editing, and motion graphics. Strong attention to detail and a keen eye for visual aesthetics and storytelling.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines. Familiarity with educational content development and learning design principles is a plus. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving project needs and feedback.
