Summary: In this role, comprehensive understanding of the Import supply chain process, from documentation and clearance to logistics and compliance, will be instrumental. Roles and Responsibilities:
- Managing the import documentation process and overseeing Customs Clearance.
- Handling export documentation, Customs Clearance, Pre-shipment, and post-shipment activities.
- Conducting freight negotiations with Freight Forwarders and managing local transportation logistics.
- Verifying and approving vendor bills in accordance with established protocols.
- Demonstrating proficiency in dealing with Allied Agencies such as NOC, FSSAI, CDSCO, AQ, PQ, and DYCC.
- Expertise in Customs Clearance procedures for HSS, FTWZ, and Bond-to-Bond shipments.
- Managing and documenting Merchant Sales Transactions.
- Generating local and import purchase orders and transmitting them to suppliers.
- Coordinating with various stakeholders, including Suppliers, CHA, FF, Shipping Line Customer Service, Sales Support, Finance team, and regulatory bodies to ensure timely import customs clearance.
- Ensuring customs compliance and overseeing customs clearing costs and payments.
- Facilitating the movement of materials into the warehouse post-EVA approval, and ensuring accurate SAP entries and documentation according to standard operating procedures.
- Taking charge of overall supply chain management for LCL, FCL, and Bulk shipments.
- Providing essential inputs for new product creation, including determining HSN codes, custom duty assessments, and necessary licenses required in India. Any Graduate with minimum 4+ Years of relevant experience. Brenntag TA Team
